If you’re looking for a great place to park you rig and stay for a bit in Moab, Utah, this KOA was a good rescue from the heat. The staff was helpful, and the amenities were much needed in the summer heat of Moab!

I’m going to keep this super basic – here are the pros and cons of this desert KOA:

PROS:

  • A pool to cool off in + a snack shack right there at the pool for drinks, etc.!
  • Some shade in sites + full hookups
  • Very convenient to town, but not right in the middle of the congestion of it all.
  • Only 10 minutes to Arches National Park!

CONS:

  • The dog park was not super shady, and the sand there gets hot around lunchtime in July.
  • Our site felt a little cramped on all ends, and it was an uphill walk to the pool.
  • Just the heat in general, the sun set on the rear of our rig, where we have a huge window – make sure to have reflective window treatments, etc.

We honestly had a great time each day enjoying the pool after playing in Arches and on the off road trails in Moab! As all KOAs go, we hope you get to enjoy this one, soon! 🙂
